A cocktail called The Gigi’s has just been mixed – and, perhaps more surprisingly, sold – priced at GBP8,888 (¥88,108), at new restaurant Gigi’s in Mayfair, London. The price makes it the most expensive cocktail ever.

为了纪念参加了餐厅开业的歌手及演员Grace Jones，这款香槟鸡尾酒使用了1990年陈年的香槟以及一款稀有的1888年Samalens Vielle Relique陈年雅文邑，还有一些安格斯图拉苦精及糖，并用可食用的金色叶子装饰。

In honour of actress and singer Grace Jones, who attended the opening, this champagne cocktail was made using vintage Cristal champagne, circa 1990, rare 1888 Samalens Vielle Relique Vintage Bas Armagnac, together with Angostura bitters and sugar, and garnished with edible gold leaves.

然而，就官方而言，吉尼斯世界最昂贵的鸡尾酒记录仍旧属于澳大利亚调酒师Joel Heffernan的酒饮The Winston（由1858年Cuvee Leonie干邑制作而成），这款酒在墨尔本以12500澳元（约合68000元人民币）的价格被售出。Heffernen也曾是从调酒师Salvatore Calabrese手中抢过该头衔的。他在伦敦The Playboy Club创作的Salvatore’s Legacy cocktail曾以5500英镑（约合54500元人民币）每杯的价格售出。

However, officially, the Guinness World Record for the world’s most expensive cocktail still belongs to Australian bartender Joel Heffernan’s drink The Winston – made with Croizet’s 1858 Cuvee Leonie cognac – which sells in Melbourne for around AUD12,500 (¥68,000). Heffernen himself stole the crown from Salvatore Calabrese, whose Salvatore’s Legacy cocktail, created at The Playboy Club in London, cost GBP5,500 (¥54,500) a glass.
